By Martha Kelly

Actually, it is not an easy thing to cope after you have lost somebody you truly loved. The experience is normally confusing, complicated and painful. Even if your colleagues, friends, and relatives try to provide the help they can, it does not yield much. Even if you try to forget and move on, it does not happen easily as the memories of past relationships still remain in your mind and heart. However, Relationship Break Up Therapy is one of the ways in which you can be assisted to move on.

Mostly, after a heartbreak, you walk with a bleeding heart and your head has too many thoughts. Usually, it is difficult to bury your feelings even after the affair is over. Intellectually, you know that you have to move on but your heart retains the attachment even if you are the one who called it a quit.

On the other hand, breakups are often isolating although people often speak about moving on as if it is an easy thing. The fact is that people who have loved deeply often feel confused and crushed when their relationships fail. This crush occurs since you continue thinking about it, and crave for the contact even when aware you should not. Again, you feel like the pain will never go and you keep thinking whether it would work. Also, even when you are completely aware that the relationship needed to end, you remain emotionally stuck.

Nevertheless, the broken-hearted individual needs to heal and move on. Usually, a recovery therapy provides guidance on how to let go the emotional attachment for you to move on. These therapy helps to answer the many questions that remain unanswered, as well as find solutions to the confusing and complex situations in the aftermath of the breakup.

Meanwhile, it is important to be aware that having a breakup means bringing to an end a marriage, relationship, partnership or friendship that has lasted for a long period of time. It also means losing a relative, family member or a colleague.

Generally, ending a relationship is a loss and the aftermaths are not far from grief after the death of a loved one. Overcoming the experience has three stages. The first stage is usually a shock or denial. The second stage is fear, anger or depression. The third and last stage is when you are able to come to terms with the situation, accept that it happened and move on.

In order to heal, you should know that all the stages and symptoms are normal after such a loss. At the same time, each recovery stage is important and natural in the healing process. You also need to acknowledge that you have actually experienced a loss and you are not alone since there are millions other ending their relationships.

Again, you should give yourself time to recover and get enough time to rest as you have gone through enough trial. Lastly, seeking for help does not expose you as weak but rather strong as you recognize your weaknesses thus taking steps towards your recovery.
